The defect: Maserati North America, Inc. (Maserati) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Quattroporte and Ghibli vehicles. The fuel line sensor housing may crack and leak fuel.
The risk: A fuel leak may cause an engine stall, increasing the risk of a crash. A fuel leak also increases the risk of fire in the presence of an ignition source.
