The defect: Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (Volkswagen) is recalling certain 2026 Atlas, Atlas Cross Sport, and ID.4 vehicles. The incorrect wheel bolts may have been installed during vehicle manufacturing.
The risk: Incorrect wheel bolts can allow a wheel to detach from the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
