The defect: Lamborghini (Automobili Lamborghini) is recalling certain 2015-2024 Huracan vehicles. The headlights may be incorrectly adjusted. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
The risk: Incorrectly adjusted headlights can reduce the visibility of oncoming traffic, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Dealers will update the software to deactivate the headlight functions for Tourist Mode and the Adaptive Front-lighting System (AFS), free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 6, 2024. Owners may contact Lamborghini c…
