Owners report Takata inflator recalls and, in some cases, replacement airbags that are incompatible with sensors, causing the airbag light to come on. This means the safety system may not deploy correctly in a crash.
Tail light bulb assemblies overheat, melting the socket and plug, and bulbs fail repeatedly, sometimes without warning. This can lead to brake lights not working, increasing rear-end collision risk.
Electrical shorts in the trunk area affect tail lights, turn signals, and brake lights, as well as trunk function. This can cause complete loss of rear lighting while driving.
